[Remote] Senior Account Manager (m/f/d)

As a Senior Account Manager, you will manage the full commercial cycle, focusing on account growth, customer relationships, and data-driven expansion strategies.
Responsibilities
- Own commercial targets and revenue growth: You carry a book of business with clear account management and revenue targets. You are responsible for growing the value of your accounts, through activation of new customers, expansion of existing ones, and proactive outreach to leads in our pipeline
- Run discovery and drive deals forward: You take ownership from the first conversation: running structured discovery, understanding the customer's recruitment workflows and challenges, and guiding them toward the right commercial model
- Own the full customer lifecycle: You own the relationship end to end, stepping in dynamically when data signals an opportunity or a need. From discovery through contracting, onboarding, activation, and expansion
- Drive data-led expansion: You use platform usage data and market signals to spot off-platform spend, underutilized potential, and expansion opportunities before customers ask. You engage proactively, based on insights, not calendars
- Act as a trusted advisor: You represent GOhiring as a strategic partner in every customer interaction, and you feed structured customer and market insights back to Product and Operations internally
- Scale the playbook: You help build and refine our Activation & Expansion playbook, commercial workflows, and the tech-touch motion that allows our product to guide customers forward between human touch-points
- Own escalations with confidence: You lead customer communication during incidents and escalations, coordinate cross-functionally, and maintain trust throughout
Skills
- Full written and spoken fluency in German and English
- Multiple years of experience in Account Management or consultative B2B SaaS sales - you have owned commercial targets and dealt with the full sales motion, not just the relationship side
- Hands-on experience with the full commercial cycle - you've run discovery conversations, navigated contracting and closed or co-closed deals
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through new customer activation and account expansion - you own outcomes, not just relationships
- Comfortable with both warm outreach and colder lead engagement - you know how to create momentum with someone who isn't yet convinced
- Data-driven and analytical: you translate usage signals and spend data into commercial action (experience with tools like PowerBI is a plus)
- Excellent communicator capable of navigating stakeholder landscapes of different complexity levels across mid-market and enterprise customers
- Thrives in high-autonomy, lean environments - you create structure where there isn't any, and improve it where there is
- Comfortable with product discussions, API integrations
- Nice to have: experience in HR Tech / recruiting software, marketplace or platform businesses, or operational SaaS
