[Remote] IndySoft Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Accredited Labs is a trusted provider of accredited calibration services, seeking an IndySoft Analyst to join their team. This role involves configuring and administering the IndySoft calibration management platform, ensuring smooth data integration and providing user support across various business systems.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks in IndySoft — managing user accounts, roles and permissions, and other routine configuration changes
- Assist with system updates and upgrades and help keep configurations consistent across sites
- Configure templates, lists, events, and workflows within IndySoft
- Set up and maintain equipment profiles, procedures, and reporting layouts (PrintBuilder / LayoutBuilder)
- Assist with extracting, transforming, and loading data when integrating new locations onto our standard IndySoft configuration, helping ensure a smooth and accurate transition
- Run queries and reports to identify and clean up duplicate, missing, or inconsistent data
- Support data validation, mapping, and cleanup efforts during system changes and the onboarding of newly acquired labs
- Help implement, monitor, and maintain integrations between IndySoft and our other business applications (such as NetSuite and Salesforce) using APIs and integration tools
- Troubleshoot failed syncs, investigate data mismatches, and help keep records aligned across systems
- Provide front-line support to users for IndySoft questions and issues, escalating complex problems as needed
- Develop and maintain clear documentation, how-to guides, and training materials to improve adoption and proficiency
- Identify inefficiencies in how IndySoft and connected systems are configured and used, and recommend enhancements, customizations, or automation to improve accuracy and productivity
Skills
- Hands-on experience administering or configuring IndySoft
- 1–4 years of experience in a systems administration, business systems analyst, data analyst, or application support role
- Comfort working with relational databases and writing SQL queries to retrieve, analyze, insert, and update data
- A working understanding of how business applications connect and share data, including familiarity with APIs, imports/exports, or integration concepts
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical, accurate approach to data and configuration work
- Solid problem-solving skills and a proactive, curious mindset — you enjoy figuring out why something isn't working and fixing it
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical topics clearly to non-technical users
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (formulas, lookups, data cleanup)
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Experience with calibration, asset, or quality management systems beyond IndySoft
- Programming or scripting experience, particularly Python, for automating tasks and working with data
- Experience administering or supporting business platforms such as NetSuite, Salesforce, or HubSpot
- Exposure to integration or ETL tools, middleware, or scripting for automating data tasks
- Familiarity with calibration, metrology, manufacturing, or other regulated environments
- Experience supporting data migrations or system rollouts across multiple sites
