[Remote] Field Business Development Representative
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Komar Distribution Services (KDS) is a leading third-party logistics provider specializing in omnichannel warehousing and fulfillment for consumer brands. They are seeking a Field Business Development Representative to build relationships and represent KDS at trade shows, while also engaging with potential clients through LinkedIn and video outreach.
Responsibilities
- Attend ~2 trade shows per month nationwide — working the floor, building relationships, handing out cards, and starting real conversations
- Build and maintain an active, credible LinkedIn presence to keep KDS top of mind
- Run personalized video outreach — Loom-style messages, LinkedIn video, and Teams calls
- Capture every meaningful conversation in HubSpot the same day, with context, so leads arrive warm — then route them to the inbound team for follow-up
- Between shows: follow up, cold call, and re-engage the contacts you’ve made
- Keep meticulous CRM data — every conversation and contact logged accurately and same-day
Skills
- 2+ years of B2B sales or business development experience (3+ preferred), ideally outbound or field-facing
- A natural extrovert who genuinely loves meeting people and working a room in person
- Loves being on camera — confident with video prospecting and comfortable posting on LinkedIn
- Genuinely excited (not just willing) to travel to ~2 trade shows per month
- Relentless and resilient — you treat rejection as fuel, and you're hungry to bring in new business
- Disciplined with CRM logging — you know a lead not logged is a lead lost
- Familiar with and eager to learn AI tools as a daily productivity multiplier
- Experience selling 3PL, warehousing, fulfillment, or distribution services
- Familiarity with the CPG, apparel, beauty, or subscription-box space
- An existing network in consumer brands, retail, or logistics
- Prior trade show / event-based selling experience
- A track record of building a following or brand presence on LinkedIn
- Hands-on experience with HubSpot, Apollo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
