Job Title: Project/Program Manager II Job DescriptionThe Project/Program Manager II coordinates and leads the end-to-end delivery of projects and programs, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational goals. This role oversees all aspects of multiple initiatives, from planning and resource allocation to execution, monitoring, and reporting. The position requires strong program management expertise, the ability to work with diverse stakeholders, and proficiency with project management tools and data analysis to drive informed decisions.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage the full lifecycle of projects and programs, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, and closure. Set clear project and program deadlines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Assign responsibilities and tasks to team members, providing direction and support to ensure successful completion of work. Oversee day-to-day project and program activities, ensuring progress remains on track and within defined scope. Monitor and summarize project and program performance, identifying risks, issues, and dependencies, and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies. Prepare and present regular status reports and updates for upper management, highlighting progress, risks, and key decisions required. Lead and direct the work of others, fostering collaboration and accountability across cross-functional teams. Utilize Asana and other project management tools to plan, track, and manage tasks, timelines, and resources effectively. Analyze project and program data to identify trends, inform decision-making, and optimize processes. Perform data entry and maintain accurate project documentation, records, and reports. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Apply judgment, creativity, and problem-solving skills to address challenges and achieve project and program goals. Leverage a strong understanding of industry concepts, practices, and procedures to guide planning and execution. Work closely with a manager or department head to align project and program activities with broader strategic priorities. Essential Skills4–7 years of experience in project or program management, or in a related area. Proven program management experience with responsibility for coordinating and completing projects and programs. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and use insights to drive decisions. Demonstrated stakeholder management skills, including managing expectations and maintaining effective communication. Proficiency with Asana or similar project management tools for planning, tracking, and reporting. Experience with data entry and maintaining accurate project and program documentation. Ability to perform data analysis to support reporting, forecasting, and process improvement. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to lead and direct the work of others, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities. Ability to rely on judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals with a high degree of autonomy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting and stakeholder interaction. Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree, typically in a related field such as business, management, or a similar discipline. Familiarity with a wide range of concepts, practices, and procedures in project and program management. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and adapt to changing priorities. High level of creativity and latitude in solving problems and optimizing project and program outcomes. Work EnvironmentThis is a remote position aligned to Eastern Time, with standard working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EDT/EST. The role involves regular use of digital collaboration and project management tools such as Asana and Microsoft Office, as well as online communication platforms for interaction with stakeholders and team members. The environment is fast-paced and project-driven, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines, maintaining clear communication, and delivering high-quality results while working independently and as part of a distributed team. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of North Reading, MA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52.00 - $55.00/hr.
