International rapidly growing product IT company StellarTech is looking for the Head of Analytics. You will lead the establishment and evolution of our analytics unit, serving as the cornerstone for data-driven decision-making across the company. You will be responsible for managing and overseeing our Data Platform, providing comprehensive analytics, reports, and insights to support various internal functions including Marketing, Monetization, Product, Payments, Finance and Customer Support, etc. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in building and managing analytics teams, capable of translating business requirements into actionable data-driven strategies. Main Responsibilities: 1. Create Analytics Framework for Mobile Apps: Design and implement a robust analytics framework tailored to mobile and web applications, covering complete business cycle with marketing, monetisation, payments and product data. Esteblish key business metrics and reporting structure for financial and operational controls. 2. Data Platform Management and Excellence: Take charge of the Data Platform’s ownership, ensuring it is scalable, secure, and efficient to support real-time data processing and analytics needs for business units. Oversee the integration of required data sources and the maintenance of data integrity across the platform. Define and manage Data Model inline with business needs. 3. Operational Reporting and Visualization Tooling: Develop and maintain operational reporting systems and dashboards to monitor day-to-day operations, including key metrics for app usage, marketing and financial performance. Select and implement cutting-edge tools for data visualization to ensure accessible, real-time insights for decision-makers. 4. Strategic Insights and Decision Support: Provide strategic insights to executive leadership and internal stakeholders by analyzing data trends and market dynamics. Drive data-driven decision-making processes across the company, particularly in areas affecting product development, marketing strategies, and customer experience. Design business metrics, create plans and forecasts. 5. Cross-functional Collaboration for Data-Driven Culture: Foster a collaborative environment with Marketing, Monetization, Product, Payments, Finance and Customer Support teams to identify and fulfill their analytics needs. Champion the use of data and insights in all strategic discussions and planning sessions to embed a data-driven culture throughout the organization. 6. Data Governance, Privacy, and Compliance: Ensure the analytics practices adhere to data governance standards and comply with relevant privacy laws and regulations. Implement policies and procedures for data handling and sharing to protect user data and company information. 7. Leadership and Team Development: Assemble and steer the analytics team, setting objectives and key performance indicators in line with the company’s vision. Main Requirements: 1. Experience: At least 3-5 years in a similar analytics leadership role in the mobile and web app industries with mln of users. 2. Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in analytics tools (Tableau, SuperSet, etc.) and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics), data warehousing solutions, and SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with machine learning techniques is a plus. 3. Data Modelling: Practical experience of creating and managing data models for mobile and web application analytics. Understanding of business related metrics (subscription, upsells, etc.)/ Organizing analytical environments for performance marketing and other business units. 4. Data Management: Proven experience in managing large datasets, and in the development and management of a Data Platform. Organizing and preserving data quiality and integrity. 5. Analytical Tools: Proficiency in statistical analysis, data visualization, and predictive modelling tools. Practical experience of using 3rd party tools like Similarweb, Sensor Tower, etc. 6. Product and Marketing Analytics: Knowledge and experience of integrating with product analytical tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel) and marketing tooling (Meta, GoogleAds, BigSpy, etc.) Awareness of platforms integration aspects. Strong A/B tooling experience. 7. Data Platform Engineering: Basic knowledge of data platforms architectures and integration technics, its capabilities and limitations. 8. Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate. 9. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and translate business requirements into data and analytics strategies. Foresee the needs and being able design system and process for hypergrowth. 10. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders. 11. Reporting: Structured and integral approach for business reporting highlighting the most important data discoveries. 12. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues. 13. Result-oriented: Ability to find optimal ways to meet business expectations within the exepected timeframe. 14.
