We are looking for a Carrier Sales Representative who will focus on the procurement side of our logistics operations. While experience in daily operations, shipment tracking, and scheduling is valuable, this role is primarily designed for a strong negotiator. Your main responsibility will be to source carrier capacity, build and maintain a reliable carrier network, negotiate competitive rates, and maximize net revenue through market analysis and strategic carrier relationships. Responsibilities: Source and secure reliable carrier capacity for customer freight across FCL, FTL, and LTL modes. Negotiate spot market rates with carriers to maximize profitability while maintaining service quality. Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to ensure reliable capacity and competitive pricing. Manage carrier communication and load coverage throughout the freight procurement process. Monitor market conditions and carrier availability to make informed pricing and sourcing decisions. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely load coverage and successful shipment execution. Maintain accurate records of carrier activity, pricing, and load status in internal systems. Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with carriers, internal teams, and customers over the phone and via email. Upper-intermediate + English Level. 1-2 years' proven experience working in a Carrier Sales role or a similar logistics role in brokerage. Strong understanding of transportation regulations and logistics procedures Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and logistics software. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
