What Your Day Will Look Like

As a Part-Time Remote Customer Experience Champion, you will be at the heart of our mission to deliver award-winning customer service. On a typical day, you will handle an average of four or more incoming calls per hour, assisting customers nationwide with a wide variety of inquiries. Your role blends problem-solving, technical know-how, and genuine human connection. Below is a closer look at what you can expect:

Customer Champion

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers calling in with questions, concerns, or service requests.
  • Provide friendly, knowledgeable, and patient support that turns first-time callers into loyal customers.
  • Consistently meet or exceed performance metrics while maintaining a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
  • Handle an average of 4+ calls per hour, balancing efficiency with quality interactions.

Technology Troubleshooter

  • Assist customers with device setup, including changing SIM cards, downloading apps, transferring contacts, and adjusting phone settings.
  • Explain cellular plans, billing details, and account features in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues with phones, service plans, and related accessories.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest devices, operating systems, and service offerings through ongoing training.

Highly Organized and Self-Motivated Professional

  • Maintain focus and energy throughout your entire shift while working independently from home.
  • Manage your time effectively, ensuring availability for customers during scheduled hours while taking assigned breaks and meal periods.

What You Bring to the Table

We provide extensive training, so you do not need to be a technology expert to apply. However, there are a few key qualifications and requirements we are looking for in our ideal candidate:

Essential Qualifications

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of six months of customer service experience is required. Prior remote customer service experience is strongly preferred.
  • Positive Attitude: A genuine desire to learn, grow, and create memorable experiences for every customer you serve.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Comfortable with general typing, navigating the internet, and using common software applications.

Work-from-Home Requirements

  • Reliable Internet Connection: You must have a minimum upload speed of 20 Mbps and a download speed of 100 Mbps. Please note that satellite, Wi-Fi hotspot, or cellular data internet services are not compatible with our systems.
  • Distraction-Free Workspace: You will need a dedicated, quiet home office environment where you can focus on customer calls without interruptions or background noise.
  • Location Requirement: While the role is remote, you must reside within 50 miles of our Louisville, Kentucky contact center. This proximity ensures you can participate in occasional in-person team interactions and access on-site IT support when needed.
