Remote Nutritionist / Registered Dietitian
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nutritionist / Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing nutrition care plans for patients, focusing on their unique dietary needs and health goals. This position requires a strong background in dietetics, patient assessment, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. The clinician will be responsible for providing health coaching and ensuring the highest standards of nutritional care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate nutritional needs and dietary habits.
- Develop individualized nutrition care plans based on diagnostic evaluations and patient goals.
- Provide health coaching to patients, guiding them through weight loss strategies and healthy lifestyle changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to integrate nutrition into overall patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress using EMR systems.
- Stay updated on the latest research in nutrition, dietetics, and physiology to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or related field; registered dietitian credential preferred.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and its application in nutrition therapy.
- Proficient in using EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively on dietary practices.
