With a vibrant community of travel‑savvy professionals, arenaflex blends cutting‑edge technology, deep industry expertise, and a culture that celebrates curiosity, collaboration, and inclusion. Our mission is to make travel work for people, businesses, and the planet – and we do it by delivering seamless, data‑driven experiences that simplify complex itineraries, reduce costs, and unlock new possibilities for our clients worldwide.

Why This Role Matters

As the Technical Customer Onboarding Manager at arenaflex, you will be the linchpin that connects our sophisticated travel product suite with the strategic goals of our global customers. You will own the technical workstreams, guide cross‑functional teams, and ensure that every implementation is delivered on time, on scope, and with the highest quality standards. If you thrive on turning intricate technical challenges into clear, actionable plans, and you love partnering directly with customers to see tangible results, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Workstream Ownership: Serve as the primary owner of all technical workstreams and product suites throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with the customer’s global strategy.
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with product owners, regional leads, and the Customer Onboarding Manager (COM) to translate customer objectives into detailed technical deployment plans.
  • Timeline Development: Create and maintain realistic timelines for technical deployment, coordinating with COMs, business units, and external stakeholders to integrate with the overall project schedule.
  • Scope Definition & Communication: Define clear delivery expectations, develop comprehensive scope overviews, and produce project plans that keep all parties informed.
  • Product Deployment Management: Work closely with product SMEs and deployment teams to roll out each solution, managing governance, schedule, and scope adherence.
  • Single Point of Contact: Act as the go‑to technical liaison for customers, fielding product queries, coordinating with workstream owners, and delivering timely resolutions.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify, raise, and mitigate risks or issues related to technical deployment, collaborating with cross‑functional owners to resolve challenges.
  • Status Reporting: Provide regular technical status updates to COMs, feeding into broader internal and customer communications.
  • Compliance Coordination: Partner with legal and compliance teams to ensure all deployments meet global and regional regulatory standards.
  • Quality Assurance: Oversee end‑to‑end test plan execution, guaranteeing that quality metrics are met before go‑live.
  • Thought Leadership: Share expertise on new products, best practices, and emerging trends to continuously elevate the customer experience.

Essential Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing complex technical implementations, preferably within the travel, hospitality, or SaaS domains.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi‑regional, matrixed projects across diverse time zones and functional areas.
  • Strong background in travel‑related products or services; a travel industry background is a MUST.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills in Business English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of compliance, data security, and regulatory requirements in a global context.
  • Hands‑on experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana) and collaboration platforms (e.g., Teams, Slack).
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, motivate cross‑functional teams, and drive results in fast‑paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications & Additional Assets

  • Experience with arenaflex’s suite of corporate travel products or similar enterprise travel platforms.
  • Background in software implementation, integration, or API management.
  • Commercial acumen and a deep understanding of corporate travel procurement processes.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve conflicts with both internal and external partners.
  • Passion for continuous learning and a willingness to challenge existing processes to drive improvement.

Core Skills & Competencies

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture while managing granular technical details.
  • Problem Solving: High‑level analytical skills to diagnose issues quickly and devise effective solutions.
