[Remote] Site Reliability Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their team. The role focuses on ensuring the reliability and performance of cloud operations and DevOps practices, requiring foundational experience with SQL and cloud database platforms, as well as scripting and monitoring tools.
Responsibilities
- 4–6 years in SRE, Cloud Operations, DevOps, or related roles
- Foundational experience with SQL Server or PostgreSQL in production environments
- Basic understanding of cloud DB platforms such as Taskora RDS or Azure SQL Database
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and alerting solutions
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and exposure to tools like Gitlab, Jenkins or Octopus Deploy
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Exposure to Container Orchestration via ECS Fargate or Kubernetes, and containerized Windows and Linux workloads
- Familiarity with Flyway, Liquibase, or other database migration tools
- Experience with Redis or other caching layers
- Familiarity with Database Performance tooling, like Solarwinds DPA
