In this fully remote role, you will be the trusted first point of contact for prospective customers engaging with arenaflex through our live chat platform. About the Role

As a Chat Sales Agent at arenaflex, you will do far more than simply process transactions. You will serve as a digital advisor, a problem solver, and a brand ambassador. Every conversation you have is an opportunity to establish a new customer relationship, identify unmet needs, and match individuals and families with the right mix of personal insurance products. Whether the customer is seeking auto coverage, motorcycle protection, a renters policy, or homeowners insurance, your role is to guide them confidently from inquiry to enrollment, all through a seamless, text-based experience.

This is a quota-driven sales position that rewards hustle, empathy, and product expertise in equal measure. You will engage in both reactive chats, where customers reach out with specific questions or ready-to-buy intent, and proactive outreach, where you initiate conversations to expand arenaflex’s reach and build a robust pipeline of new policyholders. You will be measured on your ability to close sales, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and contribute to a multi-line, profitable book of business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build Lasting Customer Relationships: Engage every chat visitor with empathy, responsiveness, and professionalism, creating a service experience that reflects arenaflex’s brand values and customer-first culture.
  • Drive New Sales: Quote, bind, and issue personal lines insurance policies for auto, motorcycle, renters, and homeowners coverage, with a focus on same-day policy acceptance and seamless onboarding.
  • Identify Cross-Sell Opportunities: Proactively recognize when a customer may benefit from additional coverage or partner products, and make thoughtful, needs-based recommendations that build a multi-line, profitable portfolio.
  • Manage Both Reactive and Proactive Chats: Balance inbound customer inquiries with outbound, opportunity-driven chats designed to expand our reach and convert prospects into loyal policyholders.
  • Meet and Exceed Daily Targets: Achieve established daily sales, productivity, and quality benchmarks while maintaining a high standard of compliance and accuracy.
  • Navigate Underwriting and State Requirements: Use available tools and resources efficiently to issue policies in compliance with underwriting guidelines and state-mandated regulations, as measured by survival and quality audits.
  • Guide Customers Through the Digital Journey: Walk new customers through arenaflex.com, helping them complete the sales process, accept terms and conditions, and feel confident about their choice.

Essential Qualifications

  • Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED equivalent. An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
  • Sales Instinct: A natural ability to identify customer needs, overcome objections, and close sales in a digital, text-based environment.
  • Digital Fluency: Comfortable navigating multiple software platforms, web browsers, chat tools, and quoting systems simultaneously, with the ability to type quickly and accurately while maintaining a warm, conversational tone.
  • Empathy and Customer Centricity: A genuine desire to help people, listen actively, and tailor recommendations to each customer’s unique situation.
  • Results Orientation: A proven track record (or strong demonstrated potential) of meeting or exceeding sales goals, productivity metrics, and performance standards.
  • Learning Agility: The ability to absorb new product information, regulatory updates, and sales techniques quickly, and apply them effectively in real-time customer interactions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 0–2 years of prior sales experience, ideally in insurance, financial services, retail, call center, or other customer-facing sales environments.
  • Familiarity with personal lines insurance products, including auto, motorcycle, renters, and homeowners coverage, is a strong plus.
  • Prior experience in a remote or work-from-home role, with a demonstrated ability to stay self-motivated, organized, and productive without direct supervision.
  • Property and casualty insurance license(s), or willingness to obtain licensure as required by state regulations (training and support may be provided).

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package designed to attract and retain top talent. For this role, the hourly pay range is $18.03 to $29.39, with the specific offer based on relevant experience, qualifications, and demonstrated skills.
