Are you passionate about helping people, solving problems on the spot, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from the comfort of your own home? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where every conversation matters and your empathy can truly change someone's day? If so, arenaflex invites you to explore a rewarding seasonal opportunity as a Remote Customer Service Advocate on our Member Loyalty Team.

At arenaflex, we believe that outstanding customer support is more than just answering questions—it's about building trust, creating loyalty, and guiding members through some of the most important decisions they make about their health and well-being. As a seasonal, unlicensed Customer Service Advocate, you will play a critical role in the post-enrollment journey, helping members understand their plans, resolve issues, and unlock the full value of the benefits included in their coverage. If you're ready to combine your communication skills with meaningful work, this role is for you.

About arenaflex and the Customer Experience Industry

We specialize in building high-performing remote support teams and delivering talent solutions that drive measurable results. By joining arenaflex, you become part of a mission-driven organization that has helped thousands of individuals access remote career opportunities while supporting the growth of diverse, skilled professionals across the country. Our team culture is built on empathy, accountability, and continuous improvement—values that shape every interaction we have with our members and with each other.

What You'll Be Doing – Key Responsibilities

As a Seasonal Remote Customer Service Advocate at arenaflex, your primary mission is to ensure every member feels heard, supported, and confident in their plan. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Handling Inbound Customer Service Calls: Serve as the first point of contact for existing members calling with questions about their health plans, benefits, billing, and service-related issues. You'll address inquiries with professionalism, accuracy, and warmth.
  • Resolving Member Issues Between Carrier and Member: Act as a liaison between the insurance carrier and the member, helping to bridge communication gaps, resolve disputes, and ensure that members receive the support they are entitled to under their plan.
  • Explaining Plan Benefits and Usage: Walk members through the benefits included in their plan, demonstrating how to access services, use included perks, and maximize the value of their coverage.
  • Conducting Outbound Calls: Use a dialer system to make outbound calls, complete post-enrollment activities, follow up on member inquiries, and proactively help members take full advantage of their plan benefits.
  • Managing High Call Volumes: Efficiently handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining quality standards, accuracy, and a positive member experience.
  • Accurate Documentation: Use on-screen scripts, tools, and internal systems to locate member information, answer questions accurately, and thoroughly document notes and outcomes for every interaction.
  • Delivering Exceptional Member Experiences: Approach every interaction with empathy, patience, and a solutions-oriented mindset, leaving members feeling valued and confident in their choice to remain with their plan.

What You'll Need – Essential Qualifications

To succeed as a Seasonal Remote Customer Service Advocate at arenaflex, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED certificate is required.
  • Customer Service Experience: A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience, preferably in a call center or similar high-volume environment.
  • Communication Skills: Strong organizational, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and friendly manner.
  • Multitasking Ability: Demonstrated ability to handle high call volumes while managing multiple tasks, systems, and member needs simultaneously.
  • Technical Setup: A high-speed hardwired home internet connection with at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds is required. A dedicated, quiet home office workspace is essential for success in this role.
  • Availability: Must be available to work any shift between 5:00 AM PST and 11:00 PM PST, including the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays as needed.
  • Computer Proficiency: Comfortable navigating desktop computers, MS Office applications, and web browsers with confidence and efficiency.

  • Prior experience with health insurance, Medicare plans, or member support services.
  • Familiarity with dialer systems and CRM platforms used in call center environments.
  • Experience working remotely in a customer-facing role.
  • Bilingual abilities (Spanish or other languages) are a strong plus, though not required.

  • Resilience and Adaptability: The capacity to stay composed during challenging calls and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in documenting interactions, following scripts, and ensuring compliance with company protocols.
  • Time Management: The discipline to manage call queues, meet performance metrics, and balance multiple responsibilities throughout the shift.
  • Team Collaboration: A willingness to support teammates, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team culture.
