[Remote] Account Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Craft Digital is seeking an Account Manager to handle day-to-day client communication and ensure project timelines are met. The role involves translating client requests into actionable tasks for the development team and managing client relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day client communication — emails, Zooms, status updates, and scope conversations
- Translate client requests into Linear tickets with reproduction steps, context, priority, and acceptance criteria
- Run weekly client check-ins and keep clients clear on where their project stands
- Handle light design and copy edits in Figma, Webflow, and similar tools without escalating
- Manage scope and timelines, including delivering clear answers on what's in and out of scope
- Spot expansion opportunities and flag them for the Account Director and founders
Skills
- 3–7 years in agency account management, client services, or a comparable client-facing operations role
- Deeply organized — calendars, checklists, follow-ups, and clean inboxes are your default mode
- Ability to write well under pressure
- Clear and warm client emails that never make a problem worse
- Comfortable reading a Linear ticket and explaining it back to a client in plain English
- Ability to do light design and copy work in Figma and Webflow
- Use of Claude or ChatGPT as part of daily workflow
- Ability to hold a Zoom with a CTO or CMO and be the calm, organized one in the room
