[Remote] Human Resources Coordinator

Confidential Careers is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative and transactional support for day-to-day HR operations across multiple facilities. This role involves maintaining employee records, coordinating onboarding activities, processing HR documentation, and assisting employees with routine HR inquiries while ensuring compliance and accuracy in HR processes.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for the HR function, including data entry, filing, and HRIS recordkeeping
- Assist with the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation, conducting I-9 verifications, and coordinating orientation logistics
- Assists people leaders with posting jobs to career site and third-party job boards
- Maintain employee personnel files and ensure compliance with document retention and confidentiality requirements
- Respond to routine employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs, escalating complex issues as appropriate
- Support team members by assisting with HR related inquiries
- Generate and distribute standard HR reports to ensure accurate and timely information
- Assist with payroll-related tasks, including processing employee changes and ensuring data accuracy
- Participate in special projects and provide general support to the HR team as assigned
Skills
- Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 1–2 years of administrative or HR support experience
- Familiarity with HR processes, HRIS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Customer service mindset with ability to support employees and managers at all levels
- Human resources: 1 year (Required)
- Candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones are preferred
