[Remote] Sr. FP&A Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. IXOPAY is the enterprise-grade global payment infrastructure platform built for the era of agentic commerce. The Sr. FP&A Analyst will own key financial reporting metrics, lead budgeting processes, and support M&A activities while partnering with various departments to drive financial accountability.
Responsibilities
- Own CARR, ARR, NRR, and GRR reporting — building waterfall analyses that track logo adds, expansions, contractions, and churn at the cohort level
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations to ensure bookings-to-revenue translation is accurate and audit-ready
- Deliver monthly recurring revenue commentary and trend analysis to the CFO, ELT, and board
- Maintain and evolve the integrated three-statement financial model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) that serves as the single source of truth for budget and forecast
- Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly reforecasts in partnership with department heads
- Build and maintain long-range plan (LRP) models spanning 3–5 years, incorporating product roadmap assumptions, market penetration scenarios, and PE sponsor return sensitivities
- Develop and maintain debt and leverage models, tracking covenant compliance, liquidity, and capital structure optimization
- Support M&A activity including target screening, valuation modeling (DCF, comparable company, precedent transaction), due diligence support, and post-close integration planning
- Build acquisition scenario models that stress-test purchase price assumptions, synergy cases, and financing structures
- Support equity and debt capital raises with financial projections, lender/investor materials, and sensitivity analyses
- Maintain cap table awareness and model dilutive impact of equity events on ownership and returns
- Own monthly close variance analysis — actual vs. budget, actual vs. prior period — with clear, concise attribution and forward-looking commentary
- Partner with functional leaders across Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to explain financial performance and drive accountability
- Identify risks and opportunities in the business trajectory and proactively communicate findings to the CFO
- Build and maintain dashboards tracking payments volume, transaction economics, take rates, processing margins, and platform adoption metrics
- Analyze customer economics including CAC, LTV, payback period, and unit contribution margin by segment, channel, and product line
- Support pricing analysis and commercial deal structuring with data-driven modeling
- Lead the identification and implementation of AI and automation tools (e.g., Claude, Mosaic, Runway, Pigment, or build-your-own via Python/SQL) to reduce manual work and accelerate insight generation
- Champion a modern FP&A tech stack — connecting ERP, CRM, billing, and BI data into a unified analytical layer
- Build automated reporting workflows that allow the finance team to spend more time on analysis and less on data assembly
Skills
- 3+ years of progressive FP&A experience, ideally within SaaS, fintech, or payments businesses

- Demonstrated experience supporting M&A, debt transactions, or other capital events
- Excellent communicator — able to translate complex model outputs into clear narratives for executives and board members
- Strong command of Excel/Google Sheets; comfort with BI tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or equivalent)
- Experience in a PE-backed environment or investment banking / valuation advisory background
- Familiarity with payment economics: interchange, processing margins, volume-based pricing, and platform revenue structures
- Exposure to corporate development or M&A processes, including valuation methodologies (DCF, comps, precedent transactions)
- Working knowledge of tools for data automation and model enhancement
- Experience deploying AI tools in a finance context — whether off-the-shelf FP&A platforms or custom LLM-assisted workflows
- CFA, CPA, MBA, or equivalent technical finance credential is a plus but not required
