[Remote] OCI DevOps Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Oracle is a leading technology company that provides cloud solutions and data management services. The OCI DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure environments, focusing on automation and operational efficiency for Fusion Applications and backend databases.
Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and manage Oracle Fusion Applications and associated BI/reporting tools using CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub)
- Deploy and manage infrastructure components, including OCI compute, networking, storage, and Container Engine for Kubernetes (OKE)
- Perform DBA operational support for Oracle Autonomous Database (ATP/ADB) and traditional databases, including cloning, patching, backup/recovery, and performance tuning
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Ansible to streamline deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) provisioning
- Act as an on-call escalation point for monitoring, incident response, and root cause analysis, ensuring 24x7 service availability
Skills
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 3–5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Oracle Applications DBA roles
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)
- Proficiency with Oracle Database technologies
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins, and Git
- Demonstrated ability to automate manual tasks and create CI/CD pipelines

- Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position.
