[Remote] DevOps Engineer - Remote
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Dice is seeking a DevOps Engineer III to provide administration services to their new DevSecOps Kubernetes platform. The role involves application deployments, daily platform maintenance, monitoring system performance, and implementing process improvements for the DevSecOps platform.
Responsibilities
- The DevOps Engineer III will provide administration services to the new DevSecOps Kubernetes platform at the client
- This position will work on application deployments, daily platform maintenance activities, monitoring system performance and security threats, and process improvements for the DevSecOps platform
- Assisting in the maintenance of enterprise container platform Rancher/Kubernetes
- Supporting secret management tool Vault for the DevSecOps platform
- Maintaining new identity management system Keycloak in Rancher/Kubernetes
- Working with other DevOps engineers and developers to deploy new applications to the DevSecOps platform
- Participating the evaluation of new security tools for the DevSecOps platform
- Creating and maintaining Terraform scripts and Ansible playbooks
- Developing Helm charts for system applications on the DevSecOps platform
- Monitoring logs, performance metrics for servers and system applications for the DevSecOps platform
- Working with application development teams on the deployment steps in CI/CD pipelines
- Maintaining documentation for the DevSecOps platform and tools
