[Remote] Staff Level Full Stack Engineer (React / Python)

Sourcetable is a startup focused on building the world's first AI native spreadsheet, aiming to enhance productivity and accessibility of data. They are seeking a Staff Level Full Stack Engineer proficient in Python and React to take on technical leadership, maintain existing applications, and develop innovative spreadsheet functions.
Responsibilities
- Take a technical leadership role in specific areas (ML, Permissioning, etc.)
- Adapt to specific requirements rapidly as they become a priority
- Maintain the existing application and architect many of Sourcetable's spreadsheet functions
- Build out the front-end to complement backend work
- Take full responsibility/ownership for each feature
- Implement specifications creatively while working closely with the engineering team
- Write clean, encapsulated and tested code that results in a great product
- Bring new processes and ideas to the organization
- Use open source and cloud technologies to solve technical challenges
Skills
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Strong proficiency in React
- Ability to take a technical leadership role in specific areas
- Experience maintaining existing applications
- Experience architecting spreadsheet functions
- Ability to build out front-end to complement backend work
- Ownership for each feature developed
- Creative implementation of specifications
- Ability to work closely with the engineering team
- Ability to write clean, encapsulated and tested code
