Counselor
Job Description: Travel For Teens is looking for qualified candidates to be counselors for programs throughout Europe, Oceania, Asia, North America, and Latin America. Potential counselors must have finished at least their second year of university/college or be 21 years old and preference is given to candidates able to commit to at least two summers. Successful candidates are reliable... passionate about travel and different cultures, and have experience working with youth. All staff must attend mandatory training either in person or virtually in late May or early June 2024. Responsibilities: Ensuring the safety of our group Creating and maintaining a positive environment Teaching and infusing knowledge of the locations we travel Creating lifelong enjoyable memories Keeping a clear line of communication with parents and office staff Completing day-to-day tasks that include errands and odd jobs Qualifications: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Fluency in English Ability to maintain a positive attitude and take direction Experience and a passion for working with teens Ability to work well in a team environment Travel experience in the locations where we travel Ability to drive a 9-15 passenger van for domestic programs Ability to work with little time off and limited personal time Photography skills are a bonus Apply Job!
