For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking a passionate and creative teacher to join our team on a part-time basis for the school year. This unique position will involve working in a fast-paced behavioral health facility, providing academic support to adolescent school-age patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment. In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans, provide individualized assistance to students, and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally, you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Class is held through Zoom and usually contains a group of 4-6 students but can go up to 8 or 9 students. Position entails a 20-hour a week commitment, Monday-Friday. Class times are from 10:00-11:30 and your prep and administrative time can be wrapped around class based on candidate preference.
