Job Summary
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. is currently seeking a Part-Time Security Guard for our Salem location. We’re looking for an individual who values safety and security, is alert and vigilant to ensure a safe environment for our clients. This role is perfect for individuals seeking flexible schedules, as it requires only 3 hrs of work daily during the evening shift. Job Description
As a Part-Time Security Guard, you will be responsible for the safety and security of our clients and their properties. You will patrol and monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules. You will also respond to security alarms and handle disturbances, maintaining a high visibility presence to deter illegal and inappropriate actions.
Responsibilities
– Patrol the facility, ensuring the continual safety and security of all company assets, staff, and visitors.
– Respond to calls for service and emergencies swiftly and professionally.
– Generate security reports for any theft, accident, or incident for accurate record-keeping.
– Ensure all entrances and exits are secure, and check all visitors for valid identification.
– Enforce the company’s rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
– Must be at least 18 years of age.
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
– Excellent observation and decision-making skills.
– Ability to handle emergency situations effectively.
– Must hold a valid driver’s license.
– Must possess or able to obtain a valid security guard license.
