Job Description:
As a Part-Time Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for the pick-up and drop-off of packages in the McKinney area with the utmost efficiency and professionalism. You will be the face of UPS to our customers and play an integral role in fulfilling our commitment to time-definite deliveries.
Responsibilities:
– Safely drive and operate UPS vehicles to deliver packages according to the designated route.
– Follow all traffic and safety laws while ensuring packages are delivered on time.
– Inspect and maintain the vehicle, ensuring it is always safe for operation.
– Provide excellent customer service, handling customer inquiries, and resolving any issues with professionalism.
– Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
– Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 pounds.
– Strong customer service skills.
– Punctual, reliable, and able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
– Willingness to adhere to UPS’s appearance guidelines.
Educational Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
Experience:
Previous professional driving experience is an asset, but not required. Comprehensive training will be provided.
