Customer Service Representative - Medical Billing

CompMed is a Multi-State | Multi-Specialty Medical Billing Company headquartered along the banks of the Ohio River, directly across from Downtown Cincinnati, OH. We have over 150 employees nationwide, and we are continuously growing due to new clientele. A Customer Service Representative at CompMed is in a remote call center and is responsible for answering incoming phone calls from patients... attorneys, guarantors, etc. Representatives will assist the caller with any questions or concerns they may have. Representatives may be responsible for, but not limited to, processing payment on an open bill via credit card, setting up payment plans, collect updated or missing insurance information, answering questions on a bill, explaining reasoning for an insurance denial. Off the phone duties could include processing mail returns, locating and attaching notes/authorizations to claims, and mailing invoices. Variety of shifts are offered Monday-Friday. The phone hours are 9-4 so an employee schedule can be between 7:30-4 through 9-5:30 EST. CompMed is currently offering a 4 1/2-day and 4-day workweek as well to eligible employees after 90 days of service.
