Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate surgical schedules and appointments with patients, doctors, and surgical centers • Handle incoming calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette • Educate patients about procedures, pre- and post-surgical care, and recovery timelines • Build and maintain positive relationships with patients to enhance their experience • Process and manage billing, insurance verification, and payments related to surgeries • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure a smooth patient journey from consultation to surgery Qualifications: • Medical Reception Experience: Familiarity with managing patient flow, scheduling, and handling confidential medical information • Sales Experience: Ability to effectively communicate services and confidently discuss financial options and billing • Exceptional Phone Etiquette: A clear and friendly communication style • Polished and Professional Appearance: You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, so a professional image is essential • Positive and Outgoing Personality: A team player with an upbeat attitude, ready to provide excellent patient care • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment • Prior experience in healthcare settings is preferred What We Offer: • Competitive salary and benefits • Opportunities for professional growth within Gotham Footcare • A supportive and collaborative team environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Experience: • Customer service: 4 years (Required) • Medical receptionist: 4 years (Required) • Sales: 4 years (Required) Ability to Commute: • New York, NY 10279 (Required) Ability to Relocate: • New York, NY 10279: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person Apply Job!
