As a Content Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to our marketing strategy, development, and improvements. Position... & Responsibilities • Developing and implementing the company’s content strategy, in alignment with the overall marketing and business goals • Managing the creation and production of high-quality written and visual content, including blog posts, social media posts, videos, images, and other materials • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, and product development, to ensure that content is consistent and aligns with overall business objectives • Creating and maintaining a content calendar, ensuring that all content is delivered on time and on brand • Analysing the performance of content and making data-driven decisions to improve engagement and ROI • Managing and optimising the company’s website and other digital assets, including SEO and SEM • Reporting to the VP of Marketing on content performance, budget and team performance

Requirements

Requirements (must-haves) • Minimum experience: 5 years experience in content creation • Technical understanding: Strong expertise in SEO, Content Writing, and strategy planning • Minimum language skills: Fluent in English • Location: Glasgow, Edinburgh or Central Scotland (This position is remote working with occasional collaborative meetings) Desirable Skills • Excellent writing and editing skills: The content manager should be able to write compelling, engaging, and error-free content for various channels, such as the website, blog, social media, and email campaigns. • Marketing and branding experience: The content manager should have a strong understanding of branding, marketing, and the role of content in promoting a business. • Project management skills: The content manager will manage multiple projects and ensure deadlines are met. Project management skills are essential to ensure the success of content campaigns. • Technical proficiency: A content manager must be familiar with content management systems, email marketing platforms, and analytics tools. • SEO knowledge: Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and the ability to optimise content for search engines will help Palisis’s content reach a wider audience. • Knowledge of the b2b travel industry: Familiarity with the b2b travel industry, including current trends, emerging destinations, and travellers’ needs, will help the content manager create relevant and informative content for Palisis’s target audience Key Attributes • Strong interpersonal skills: The content manager will work with various teams, including product, design, and customer service, to create and distribute content.
