Part-time Security Officer

Job Posting: Security Guard - 24/7 Coverage Needed GuardSafe Security is seeking motivated individuals with strong customer service skills and a passion for providing a safe and secure environment. We are hiring a combination of full-time and part-time employees to cover shifts at a National Communication Center. Each shift is 8 hours, and we're looking to fill positions for 24/7 coverage... including overnight shifts. Job Responsibilities: • Monitor CCTV cameras to ensure security and safety. • Perform regular patrols of the building's interior and exterior. • Write detailed reports on any policy violations or security incidents. • Maintain positive interactions with all employees entering and exiting the facility. • Work closely and collaboratively with site management and staff to address security concerns. Site Instructions: Details of Security Officer Duties: • Arrive on time for your scheduled shift. • Your post will be in the main entrance/lobby area to monitor entrants when not conducting patrols. • Always remain alert and vigilant, monitoring the building for any suspicious activity. • Suspicious activities to watch for include: • Protests by small or large gatherings of people. • Individuals loitering around the building. • Individuals recording photos or videos of the property and/or its assets. • Conduct foot patrols every 30 minutes around the interior of the building and exterior of the property. Requirements: • Cellphone for communication. • Indoor post available. • Restroom and shelter provided during shifts. • Overnight coverage required for specific shifts. Position Requirements: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Ability to pass a background check. • Reliable transportation to and from the work site. • Prior security experience is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate. Schedule: • We are hiring both full-time and part-time positions to cover 24/7 shifts, including overnight coverage. • Shifts are 8 hours long, with one guard per shift.
