Revenue Accountant (Fully Remote) Location: San Jose, CA Duration: Temporary. Minimum Two Months Rate: $55-$60/hour Pinpoint Talent has an immediate opportunity for a Revenue Accountant. This is a temporary opportunity for a minimum of two months. The Revenue Accountant will support our client's team during a crucial period. This temporary role offers the chance to work with an innovative company in a fully remote setting. You will focus on managing and analyzing SaaS revenue contracts. The individual must have experience with ASC 606 and at least three years of revenue accounting experience. Key Responsibilities: • Apply ASC 606 policies accurately by reviewing and analyzing contract terms, including modifications and deal linkages. • Complete month-end close processes, including revenue recognition, journal entries, and reporting for management. • Maintain up-to-date internal documentation on revenue policies, procedures, and controls. • Conduct regular reviews and special... analyses to ensure all contracts are processed and reported correctly. What You'll Focus On: • Carefully reviewing contract terms: start and end dates, revenue amounts, prepaid fees, cancellation terms, etc. • Ensuring contracts are set up and processed correctly in the system for accurate revenue recognition. • Staying on top of continuous incoming orders to make sure everything is fulfilled efficiently and on time. About You: • You have 3+ years of experience in revenue accounting within the SaaS industry. Or experience working for a public accounting firm with SaaS-based clients. • You're well-versed in ASC 606 Revenue Recognition. • You know your way around SaaS contracts and can spot nuances in the details. • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and Salesforce is required. • Proficient in Excel (intermediate level) and comfortable working with Google Suite and Slack. • You hold a B.S. Degree in Accounting or Finance. • You have a positive attitude, are a clear communicator, and work well both independently and within a team. Software Skills Required: • NetSuite and Salesforce experience is required. • Intermediate proficiency in Excel, plus familiarity with Google Suite and Slack. • Must be comfortable using a MacBook for daily tasks.
