Early Intervention Specialist
Soar Autism Center is hiring for an Early Intervention Specialist to be part of our transformative team dedicated to fostering the development of children with autism. As a care provider at our center, you will apply behavioral and developmental strategies to assist in our children's development. In turn, you will teach skills that provide a critical foundation for a child's growth and... learning. Key Responsibilities: Provide attentive one-on-one care and behavioral/developmental support to children aged 2-6, emphasizing a nurturing and encouraging environment Implement care plans under the guidance of our clinical team, ensuring they are suitable for the learning and growth of children Build relationships with children's families What the job is like: Plusses: Meaningfully impact children's growth, clear paths for career advancement, purpose-led organization, multi-disciplinary team Challenges: Can be demanding at times working with children, some routine care like diaper changes Qualifications: Interest in and experience working with children -- we are open to a diverse set of backgrounds and experiences in working with with kids Preference given to those currently in a degree program or holding a degree Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team What We Offer: $20.50 - $26.00/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities.
