Responsibilities • Lead the development of creative concepts and product strategy for Target's decorative accessories. , • Collaborate with merchandising and sourcing teams to ensure alignment with brand vision and product assortment. , • Drive financial results by providing design solutions that differentiate Target's products in the marketplace. , • Manage designer partnerships and oversee the execution of product design across various categories. , • Conduct seasonal trend research and guide the product design and development processes. , • Set clear objectives for team members, provide performance feedback, and evaluate potential. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experience. , • 15+ years of experience in product design and development within a retail or wholesale environment. , • Demonstrated leadership ability in managing product development teams of ten or more. , • Outstanding communication, presentation, negotiation, and influencing skills. , • In-depth knowledge of design and product development processes, including textiles and garment manufacture. Nice-to-haves • Experience with domestic and overseas market travel. , • Strong commercial sense and ability to identify trends in product design.
