Virtual Special Education Teacher for a California School District We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Virtual Special Education Teacher to join a school in California. In this position, you will provide individualized support and instruction to students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with disabilities, be skilled in adapting lessons to meet IEP goals, and thrive in a virtual teaching environment. Responsibilities: • Provide personalized virtual instruction to students with special needs. • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress. • Adapt and modify lesson plans to accommodate students’ diverse learning styles and abilities. • Use digital tools and resources to create engaging and accessible lessons. • Collaborate with parents, school staff, and support personnel to ensure student success. • Communicate regularly with families to update on progress and address concerns. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education. • California State Certification in Special Education (Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe preferred). • Experience teaching students with disabilities, ideally in a virtual setting. • Proficient in using technology and virtual teaching tools. • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
