Job Summary of Sales Merchandise Associate: In charge of creating a positive customer experience by engaging with and assisting customers, demonstrating a commitment to customer service principles, and preserving a clean and structured store ambiance, while adhering to operational and security policies. Responsibilities of Sales Merchandise Associate: • Pioneers in the field of customer experience advocate for practices that enhance interactions with both internal team members and external customers • Advocates for and personifies a optimistic store ethos through transparency, principled conduct, and esteem • Handles customer purchases and returns according to established operational procedures and ensures accurate transaction processing • Advocates for the endorsement of credit and loyalty initiatives during customer engagements • Abides by the merchandising philosophy and adheres to the established procedures and standards in place • Accurately handles and readies goods for retail display based on company standards and procedures • Begins and partakes in store recovery as required throughout the day • Follows all organizational, tidiness, and restoration standards for the sales floor and takes part in preserving the cleanliness of the entire store • Gives and accepts continual recognition and positive critique • Ensures compliance with labor laws, policies, and operational procedures • Backs and actively takes part in store objectives to minimize shrinkage • Involves oneself in promoting the importance of safety and preserving a secure environment • Engages in other assignments as directed Requirements of Sales Merchandise Associate: • Has a strong grasp of customer service principles and practices • Willing to alter schedule as necessary to assist with business operations • Has adept organizational skills and a thorough attention to specifics • Capable of managing multiple assignments at once • Possesses the capacity to appropriately handle shifts in direction or unexpected situations, supported by strong communication skills • Skilled in raising heavy objects with or without the need for reasonable assistance • Successfully engages with peers and supervisors to achieve common goals • Optimal customer interactions are favored by individuals in the retail sector Apply Job!
