Remote Teaching Assistant - Online | WFH

Job Overview We are in search of motivated and passionate individuals to join our team as Online Teaching Assistants (TAs) for our Virtual Instructor Led Training (VILT) program. This role will play a pivotal part in supporting students enrolled in the “Certified Professional Biller Training” course, providing essential guidance to facilitate their success. Key Responsibilities • Deliver personalized one-on-one mentoring to students, offering support on course materials and assignments. • Monitor and evaluate student progress towards achieving course objectives via assignments, practical exercises, quizzes, and examinations. • Provide constructive and timely feedback to students regarding their academic performance. • Utilize the learning management system to access course content, track student progress, and engage with students effectively. • Assist faculty during live virtual sessions to ensure seamless course delivery. • Develop engaging and practical assignments that enhance students’ understanding and application of course concepts. • Be available for student consultations during designated office hours or at scheduled appointments via virtual platforms, phone, or email. • Participate in orientation sessions to become acquainted with company policies and the learning management system. • Respond to student inquiries within 48 hours, offering support and coaching as necessary. Required Skills • Extensive knowledge of relevant healthcare disciplines. • Proven capability to effectively teach and mentor adult learners. • Strong dedication to delivering high-quality teaching and student support. • Proficient in utilizing technology to enrich teaching and learning experiences. • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally. • Strong organizational skills and prompt responses to student inquiries. • Ability to foster positive and supportive relationships with students and colleagues. • Experience with completely online or hybrid course delivery. Qualifications • Active and valid certifications in "Certified Professional Coder" and "Certified Professional Biller." • Prior experience in corporate training, particularly with adult learners, is highly desirable. • Teaching experience in online courses or hybrid formats is a plus. • A minimum of 2-3 years of background in production coding or auditing.
