This requires us to deliver on our promises and always look for new opportunities to grow, both ourselves and our business.Job PurposeAs a DEI Partner, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice, support, and leadership to our NGV Business on all DEI-related matters. You will interpret and translate the global DEI direction into actionable strategies tailored to meet specific business requirements. Collaborating closely with the Chief Diversity Officer, Chief People Officer (CPO), People team, and other stakeholders, you will coordinate and execute initiatives and projects that have a measurable impact on Business Unit and Functional DEI priorities.Key Accountabilities• Co-lead the creation of the BU/Functional DEI plan and continual refresh, when needed• Leverage and provide DEI insights from annual data sets (e.g Employee Engagement Survey, Leadership Index, etc.)• Identify, develop, and deploy relevant DEI upskilling/training/initiatives in partnership with BU/Functional People Teams• Develop and maintain strong relationships with relevant COEs to broaden the DEI reach – i.e. internal communications, property, recruitment, health and wellbeing• Provide thought leadership/advice to CPO, People Partners, and BU/Functional Leadership on DEI related mattersQualifications• Deep subject matter expertise in DEI best practices, demonstrating a strong commitment to and passion for inclusion, equity, and diversity.• Proven ability to drive change and implement new ways of working, showcasing innovative thinking, effective project management, and the ability to deliver multiple initiatives simultaneously.• Possesses business knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of National Grid as a business, allowing for informed decision-making and strategic alignment.• Adapts style and approach effectively based on the audience and stakeholders, fostering positive relationships and influencing outcomes.• Skilled in coaching, educating, and upskilling colleagues, empowering them to embrace DEI principles and contribute to a more inclusive culture.More Information#LI-MR1 #LI-HYBRIDSalary$140k - $171k a year in Brooklyn, NY$131k - $160k a year in Waltham, MA$117k - $143k a year in Syracuse, NYThis position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
