About the position The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) E9 position is an experienced level role responsible for providing nursing care to members in a designated shift under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN will perform a full range of nursing duties, including administering medications, monitoring their effectiveness, and maintaining extensive documentation in medical records. This role does not permit starting IVs or administering IV medications, and it is subject to random drug and alcohol testing. The position offers a $2,000 signing bonus for eligible new hires. Responsibilities • Provide nursing care to members according to established care plans. , • Administer medications and monitor their effectiveness. , • Document nursing care and interventions in member medical records. , • Contribute to the planning of member care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. , • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions. Requirements • Possession of a certificate from a practical nursing education program accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing. , • Michigan licensure as a Practical Nurse.
