Overview

CCMSI is seeking an experienced Multi-Line Claim Consultant to join our team supporting a dedicated client account. This role is responsible for investigating and adjusting multi-line claims, with a focus on auto property damage and mid-level bodily injury claims. Experience with commercial trucking claims is highly desirable. We offer a collaborative environment, manageable caseloads, and a flexible hybrid or remote work option. Responsibilities • Investigate, evaluate, and adjust multi-line claims, ensuring compliance with claim handling standards and applicable laws. • Establish and manage reserves within assigned authority levels. • Review and oversee medical, legal, damage estimates, and invoices to ensure reasonableness and appropriateness. • Authorize and issue payments on claims following CCMSI procedures and within payment authority limits. • Negotiate settlements in line with corporate standards, client-specific instructions, and state regulations. • Select, refer, and supervise work assigned to outside vendors (e.g., legal, surveillance, case management). • Monitor subrogation claims and assist in resolution. • Maintain accurate claim diaries and prepare detailed status reports as needed. • Coordinate effectively with clients, claimants, and other relevant parties throughout the adjustment process. • Prepare excess/reinsurance notifications and attend hearings, mediations, and legal conferences as required. • Conduct claim reviews and training sessions for clients, contributing to continuous learning and improvement. • Ensure compliance with corporate claim handling standards and client-specific instructions. Qualifications • Experience: 5+ years of multi-line claims handling experience, with a strong emphasis on auto property damage and mid-level bodily injury claims. Commercial trucking experience is highly desirable. • License: Active adjuster's license is required. • Skills: • Excellent oral and written communication skills. • Strong analytical, negotiation, and organizational abilities. • High level of initiative and attention to detail. • Ability to manage job pressures in a fast-paced environment. • Commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
