Work from Home: Virtual Intervention Specialist

Position: Remote Intervention Specialist Location: Ohio (Fully Remote) Job Type: Part-Time (30 hours/week) About the Role: VocoVision is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our remote workforce. This role offers the flexibility to work from home while making a significant impact on students' educational outcomes. You will provide direct support to students through virtual interventions, working with a variety of learning needs. Responsibilities: • Provide remote, one-on-one or small group interventions for students in Ohio schools. • Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies for students with diverse learning needs. • Monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as needed to ensure academic success. • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to align support strategies. • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions. • Use various educational technologies and tools to support student learning remotely. Qualifications: • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field. • Ohio licensure as an Intervention Specialist (or eligibility for licensure). • Experience working with students who have a variety of learning disabilities or needs. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. • Familiarity with virtual learning platforms and tools is preferred. • Experience with IEPs and individualized instruction is a must.
