Location: Boston, HybridOur Opportunity: 

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and experienced Sr. Payroll Specialist to join our high growth Finance Team to execute payroll processing for the US and Canada utilizing ADP WorkforceNow (“WFN”).  Additionally, this role will serve as a vital cross-functional business partner in Payroll related implementation initiatives.

You’ll Spend Your Time

  • Processing semi-monthly, multi-state payrolls for the US & Canada.
  • Ensuring employee payroll deductions are being processed correctly through frequent audits.
  • Confirming time and attendance for hourly employees in preparation for payroll processing.
  • Maintaining strong payroll data exchange processes with Workday to ensure employee changes (such as salary, taxation) are processed timely and accurately.
  • Processing state and locality registrations (US).
  • Providing the necessary support for the annual financial statement audit along with any statutory audits as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with internal partners such as People’s team, Benefits and Accounting.
  • Effectively managing employee inquiries through the Workday ticketing system within defined service level agreement and escalating to the Sr. Manager, Payroll as appropriate.
  • Working closely with the Sr. Manager, Payroll to complete ad hoc projects by their required deadline (e.g., supporting the ADP Implementation Project).
  • Ensuring all payroll processing tasks along with providing support validation are signed off in the FloQast workflow tool.
  • Completing other ad hoc tasks assigned by the Sr. Manager, Payroll.

What You’ll Need

  • 5+ years of experience processing US & Canada payrolls in a high-growth environment.
  • Subject matter expert in payroll tax and reporting rules and regulations.
  • High integrity and proficiency in handling confidential information.
  • Experienced with the ADP WFN, Workday, and ADP Celergo is a plus.
  • Have excellent attention to detail skills.
