Centers Tech Support Manager

Actively participates in the design, development, testing and documentation of the codes and jobs necessary to support management initiatives. Requires an understanding of computer center infrastructure and environments, tools, and processes; may assist management with production including loads, source, job scheduling data sets and scripts. Works on several or all technical phases of operations. Ability to employ production system utilities and produce software in one or more programming languages. Directs compilation of records and reports concerning production, machine malfunctioning and maintenance. Possesses and applies a broad knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of particular field of specialization to the completion of assignments. Works with minimum supervision. May advise on organizational, procedural, and work flow plans, methods, and procedures analysis.
