Key Responsibilities

As an APD/BI Auto Adjuster, you will: • Review and assess claims to determine coverage, liability, and the extent of damages. • Conduct thorough investigations, interviewing insureds, claimants, and witnesses to ensure accurate claim outcomes. • Set timely and adequate reserves in line with client policies. • Make settlement recommendations, negotiate, and resolve claims, including supplements. • Identify subrogation and salvage opportunities and pursue them accordingly. • Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and industry standards. • Provide excellent customer service, keeping all involved parties informed and addressing questions or concerns. • Work collaboratively with the team and strive to be a resource to others. • Operate in a fast-paced, tech-driven environment with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

We're looking for candidates who bring the following to the table: • Individual Independent State Adjuster licenses required (especially in Texas). Ability to obtain necessary licenses within 60 days of hire. • 4+ years of experience handling personal lines auto physical damage claims of low to moderate complexity. • Exposure or strong experience handling bodily injury claims. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to make autonomous decisions with strong analytical reasoning. • Experience using estimating platforms for material damage claims. • Ability to thrive in a high-production, virtual environment. • A dedication to maintaining complete and accurate claim files.
