About the position ADP is seeking a Workers Compensation Underwriter to evaluate prospective clients from a workers' compensation perspective. This role involves collaboration with the Sales team to identify and reject unprofitable prospects, ensuring that the company engages with clients that align with its profitability expectations. The position emphasizes the importance of integrity, service excellence, and innovation in achieving success. Responsibilities Approves and disapproves of prospective clients. , Develops and maintains a current knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations on workers' compensation insurance. , Prepares loss control requests. , Performs any special projects assigned by the Underwriting Manager. Requirements Four-year college degree (or equivalent in education and experience). , 3-4 years of insurance experience with a concentration in workers' compensation underwriting. Nice-to-haves Ability to perform rapid turnaround decisions on worker's compensation and risk evaluation. , Ability to handle a heavy telephone load.
