About the position The Social Worker position involves providing support and assistance to families and individuals facing various challenges. The role focuses on advising clients on medical, legal, financial, and emotional issues, while also helping children and adolescents cope with family-related problems. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with a team to negotiate solutions and research community resources, ensuring the well-being of clients. Responsibilities Provide support and assistance to families and individuals. , Advise families and individuals on a wide variety of issues including medical, legal, financial, and emotional problems. , Help children/adolescents cope with family issues. , Help individuals create long-range plans for future health and well-being. , Provide assistance with employment, housing, or substance abuse problems. , Work as part of a team. , Communicate well with others throughout the agency. , Negotiate solutions to problems. , Research community resources. Requirements Clinical Social Worker license (preferred) , Experience in social work, particularly in geriatrics or family support. Nice-to-haves Experience working with children and adolescents , Strong negotiation skills , Ability to research community resources effectively.
