Responsibilities
A Week in the Life of an on-site Network Engineer III: Configure and troubleshoot Enterprise-level Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) to protect data and control access to the US Government customer's classified network. Install and configure Cisco router and switches. Troubleshoot Cisco routing/switching, VMware, and VPN issues. Coordinate on-site with remote users to install/configure equipment and troubleshoot remote Network layer 2 and layer 3 issues. Propose enhancements to improve performance and reduce costs of maintaining a compliant network. Interface with senior management and their vendors' technical personnel. Allowed to work independently or semi-independently with minimum guidance or direction. Qualifications US Citizenship is required TOP SECRET security clearance with SCI eligibility Bachelors Degree or 6 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of degree 8-10 years of networking experience Experience with Cisco ISE configuration and troubleshooting, Cisco router, switches, and firewalls Experience troubleshooting Network layer 2 and layer 3 Candidates with CCNP and/or CCIE may be given higher consideration. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
