We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics and supply chain processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. As a Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating transportation, managing inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. Responsibilities • Coordinate transportation planning to ensure efficient movement of goods. • Oversee warehouse management to maintain optimal inventory levels. • Analyze logistics data to identify trends and improve processes. • Collaborate with NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) for shipping needs. • Utilize AS400 software for tracking shipments and managing inventory. • Source suppliers and negotiate contracts to optimize costs. • Conduct data analysis to support demand planning and inventory management. • Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts. • Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve issues promptly. Skills • Strong knowledge of transportation planning and logistics operations. • Experience in warehouse management practices. • Proficient in data analysis skills to interpret logistics metrics effectively. • Familiarity with NVOCC operations is a plus. • Proficient in AS400 or similar inventory management systems. • Excellent sourcing skills with the ability to negotiate effectively. • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
