Your Impact: • Collaborate and Coordinate: Participate in meetings with various disciplines, clients, and owners to ensure seamless project execution. • Design Excellence: Coordinate the design and documentation to complete construction documents on schedule and within budget. • Technical Mastery: Author and maintain structural specifications, select construction procedures, determine materials and member sizes, and perform necessary calculations. • Support and Review: Assist with shop drawing reviews, RFIs, change proposals, and incorporate changes into project documents. • Effective Communication: Utilize your written and verbal skills to relay design and coordination items to team members and author engineering reports, memos, and emails. • On-Site Expertise: Provide site observations during construction and author reports based on your findings. What You'll Need: • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in structural engineering, focusing on buildings using steel, concrete, and/or masonry. • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis or Architectural Engineering. A Master's degree is a plus. • Licensing: Professional Engineering (P.E.) or Structural Engineering license. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in foundation design, Revit Structure 2019 or newer, and complex analysis software like Risa Floor, Risa 3D, Etabs. • Design Proficiency: Expertise in steel, concrete, and masonry design, including connections and scheduling. • Code Knowledge: Strong understanding of the International Building Code (IBC) and relevant reference codes. • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Software Skills: Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, Bluebeam Studio Sessions, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
