Under the direction of the Administrator, the Business Office Manager oversees all business office functions and personnel, including but not limited to accounts receivable, accounts payable, resident trust funds, and other assigned responsibilities. The Business Office Manager ensures the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of financial systems with professional accounting practices, company policies, and government regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to assist residents who are unable to manage their own financial transactions or safeguard their funds, utilizing methods approved by state and federal regulations. • Manages the collection of accounts receivable, with a focus on 100+ accounts, by employing the following techniques and procedures: • Conducting collection calls for delinquent accounts, documenting conversations with letters • Notifying residents of payments not received by the required dates and applying late payment fees as applicable • Resolving balance disputes as necessary • Following up on delinquent accounts and monitoring payment timelines • Preparing account analysis and reconciliation • Developing plans of action for follow-up based on prior actions taken • Gathers month-end medical reports, maintains files for reporting purposes, and ensures timely responses to Medicare requests for medical records • Coordinates Medicare Part A determinations with the Nursing Department • Ensures completion of Medicare Part A and B appeals in response to denials • Balances SUM journals with billing reports by the 10th of each month • Follows Medicare procedures on a weekly basis, as required • Processes Medicaid pending conversations and reviews them on a weekly basis • Prepares daily deposits and makes bank deposits • Oversees the daily operations of resident trust accounts • Performs other related duties as required or requested Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8-hour shifts • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person at Bronte Health and Rehab Center 900 S State St, Bronte, TX 76933 To apply, please click here:https://www.brontehrc.net/contact-us Apply Job!
