The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Power Plant Operator to join the team in Everett, WA. Position Responsibilities: Operate boilers, with responsibility to operate engines and boiler associated auxiliary equipment depending on location Read gauges, meters, and charts to track boiler operations Monitor boiler water, chemical, and fuel levels Activate valves to change the amount of water, air, and fuel in boilers Feed boilers using gas feeds or oil pumps, inspect and maintain equipment to ensure that it is operating efficiently Check safety devices and perform environmental checks routinely Record data and keep logs of operation, maintenance, and safety activity Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 1+ years of experience with Boiler Operations City of Seattle Steam Engineer's License Grade 2 Valid state drivers license Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years of experience with Boiler Operations City of Seattle Steam Engineer's License Grade 1 Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
