Sr Product Manager, Accounts Payable (AP) &

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Product Manager to lead our growth solutions in Accounts Payable (AP) and Payment. In this crucial role, you will define and drive the product strategy, roadmap, execution, and overall success of these two key strategic growth areas. This is a high-profile role which requires collaboration across multiple functions to ensure the success of our AP and Pay products on all platforms. You will work closely with teams in marketing, sales, service, finance, legal, and security to ensure the end-to-end success of the products. Your deep understanding of our users and customers, along with insights into their engagement with our products, will be essential in shaping our offerings. Additionally, you will stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape related to AP and Pay products. As an individual contributor within the product team, you will proactively identify high-value opportunities, articulate their business impact, and influence colleagues, stakeholders, and key executives using data and logical reasoning. Key Responsibilities: • Product Strategy & Vision: Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy for our AP and Pay products which aligns with company goals, customer needs and internal stakeholder needs. • Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, balancing short-term needs with long-term vision and market opportunities. • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape; leverage insights to inform product decisions. • Strategic Analysis: Utilize market research, competitive analysis, and internal data to create compelling business cases that articulate the strategic value of new data products and features. • Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback, validate product concepts, and ensure product solutions meet their needs. • Hospitality Payments Focus:Collaborate with buyers in the hospitality industry (the payer) and suppliers and vendors (the payee) to understand, and design solutions for, their unique B2B payment challenges. • Execution and Delivery: Collaborate with engineering and the design team to define product requirements, specifications, and acceptance criteria and ensure success launch of new features and products. • 3rd Party Management: Align with third parties (payment partners) to jointly deliver integrated solutions. • Documentation and Presentation: Prepare comprehensive documentation that outlines the business case, including executive summaries and supporting data visualizations, to present to senior leadership and decision-makers. • Performance Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and make data-driven decisions to optimize product offerings. • Go-to-Market Strategy: Work with marketing and sales teams to develop effective go-to-market strategies, including positioning, messaging, effective internal and external communication and launch plans. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams through the product development lifecycle, ensuring alignment and effective communication across departments. Qualifications: • Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a focus on P2P AP and Payment products or related fields. • Product-Led Expertise: Proven experience in modern product discovery and delivery techniques, showcasing a deep understanding of how to effectively develop and launch successful products. • 3rd Party Management: Experience working with third party platforms on roadmap alignment and development activities. • Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of the complexities of the AP and Payments industry. • Analytical Skills: Proven ability to analyze complex data sets, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions. • Product Toolsets: Experience with Aha, Atlassian (Confluence, Jira), Tableau, Microsoft BI, Looker or other relevant product management and data visualization toolsets. • Customer-Centric Mindset: Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering exceptional product experiences. • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. • Agile Methodologies: Experience with Agile product development processes and tools. • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
