Are you ready to lead and transform? We are searching for an experienced and driven Distribution Manager who is passionate about taking our Distribution Centers to the next level. About the Role: As the Distribution Manager, you will be the driving force behind transforming our traditional warehouses into world-class facilities. Your mission? To create a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence. With two large Distribution Centers in Socorro, TX under your leadership, you'll oversee financial performance, day-to-day operations, and the development of a high-performing team.
Responsibilities
What You'll Do: Lead and Inspire: Develop and mentor a team of managers, supervisors, and shop floor leaders, setting goals, providing ongoing feedback, and fostering career growth. Partner with the on-site HR Manager to ensure that our policies, from safety to absenteeism, are not just followed but embraced by everyone. Improve employee retention and engagement, making our facilities places where people are excited to work. Drive Operational Excellence: Work closely with HR to maintain optimal staffing levels, balancing service targets with cost efficiency. Lead the charge in managing all aspects of the facility, from KPI tracking to Inbound and Outbound flow. Elevate our operations by driving initiatives in safety, quality, inventory management, and labor management. Be a Strategic Partner: Collaborate with finance and your direct leader to create and execute a financial plan that supports productivity and reduces operational costs. Work with customers and corporate teams to resolve challenges and continuously improve customer satisfaction
Qualifications
What We're Looking For: Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization. A master multitasker who is highly organized and excels in time management. Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices. Bachelor's degree preferred in engineering, logistics, supply chain, manufacturing/production, or business. Over ten years of experience in logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or a related field, with at least five years in a managerial role. Proven experience in developing and implementing strategic plans. Project management skills and a knack for developing solutions. Bilingual candidates are highly preferred. Work Environment: This role is based in a warehouse setting, where you'll be exposed to various conditions including cold, heat, and humidity. You may also work in an office environment using standard equipment. Physical Demands: Regularly required to use hands, reach, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs, and occasionally, with assistance, objects over 75 lbs. Travel: Travel is minimal, less than 10% of the time, with occasional international trips.
