Workday Security Lead

Work you'll do/Responsibilities Deloitte Consulting LLP is providing comprehensive support for a client Workday and Coupa platforms, focusing on knowledge transfer, service delivery, incident management, and continuous optimization. The project aims to stabilize, enhance, and innovate the application landscape to ensure seamless operations and improved performance. • Develop robust security model and governance in partnership with process owners to establish and enforce data security policies, protocols, and procedures to protect sensitive HR data. • Design and configure security towards maximizing efficiency and improving processes. • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risk. • Implement robust endpoints to ensure seamless data flow between HR systems and other organizational/external systems. • Conduct process modeling and identify opportunities for improvement within HR data management and reporting processes. • Lead design, development, and implementation of new Workday Security functionality including managing internal Workday Security team and their Workday development, prioritizing efforts to deliver and oversee quality. • Provides guidance and subject matter expertise on security, data and reporting capabilities and limitations. • Partner with HR Tech leadership on escalations and cross-functional impacts • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance HR data and security architecture. • Lead the implementation of new systems and technologies, ensuring they meet organizational standards and requirements. • Actively participate in Workday's semi-annual release process, working with business teams to address critical impacts and upcoming enhancement opportunities. • Maintain service delivery excellence including but not limited to a list of key deliverables and timelines across projects/initiatives with dependencies and proactively communicate progress to a variety of stakeholders. • Communicate regularly with Engagement Managers (Directors), project team members, and representatives from various functional and / or technical teams, including escalating any matters that require additional attention and consideration from engagement management. • Independently and collaboratively lead client engagement workstreams focused on improvement, optimization, and transformation of processes including implementing leading practice workflows, addressing deficits in quality, and driving operational outcomes The Team The Human Capital as a Service offering sits at the intersection of people and technology. Qualifications

Required • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture, data management, and security, with a focus on HR systems. • Minimum of 7 years leading design, development, and implementation of new Workday Security functionality, including managing internal Workday Security teams and Workday development • Minimum of 7 years of experience working with security frameworks and protocols • Minimum of 5 years of experience working with HR processes, data privacy laws, and compliance requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience working within Workday Security with an HR Tech systems. • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available. • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve. • Recruiting for this role ends on 4/28/2025. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $114,000- $175,000. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
