Job Summary and Qualifications As a Radiology Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for setup and assist physicians with procedures as needed (i.e., abscess drainage, biopsy, consent for invasive procedures and follow-ups, as necessary). What You Will Do

In This Role: · You will be responsible for EKG monitoring when necessary. · You will be responsible for administering medications/blood as ordered. · You will be responsible for start of saline locks and I.V.’s according to IVP/CT protocol. · You will be responsible for catheterization of patients in department. · You will monitor patients receiving I.V. sedation under the direct supervision of the Radiologist. · You will be responsible for informing the Radiologist/Technologist of any penitent changes in the patient’s condition. What Qualifications You Will Need: · Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required. · Current Texas licensure with State Board of Nurse Examiners is required. · BSN is preferred. · Two years of hospital experience is required. · Basic EKG certification is required. · IV Therapy certification is required. · IV Medication course is required. · American Heart Association BLS certification is required. · American Heart Association ACLS certified is required within six months of hire.
